9 Million View syam in Surat Thani

"We were so skeptical at firsr because the place looks run down with a lot of junk in one corner however we were greeted by a lovely old couple and didnt want to break their hearts. We also decided to trust google reviews and had one of the best meals we had in Thailand. We ordered the fried fish with garlic, which was great. The lady cleaned it so we didnt have to get messy and flavor was on point. We also had the pinapple fried rice alongside Thai Curry with shrimps and both were delicious. The shrimps were fresh and cooked so nicely. We also ordered one young coconut to drink. The couple were so friendly and sweet. The husband even took my husband to exchange money as they dont accept card and they also offered our baby a piece of chocolate which we politely declined as ee dont really give her that. Prices are also super cheap. Would come again and def advise anyone around the area to eat here. It’s really authentic and supports an older couple trying to makenit through life."

"We came here for dinner tonight and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were kind, and the food was amazing. In my opinion, a lot of the restaurants around here get crowded for other reasons other than the food. This place deserves to be full as the food is high quality and flavourful with a great atmosphere and vibe. It would be even better during the day as it has a great view of the ocean. I will definitely come back here!"

"The hosts were very welcoming, the food was delicious and the view was amazing! What more could you ask for? We ordered a couple of main dishes and a rice each to share. The Tom yum soup was flavourful and not too spicy, the chicken with the cashew nuts had a very nice sauce, the chicken wings were very crispy outside and moist inside and omelette was delicious!"

"Such an authentic Thai cuisine experience! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is absolutely mind-blowing - so, so, so good. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with love. As a fun extra, we even got to see their two water monitor lizards living underneath the restaurant (don’t worry, they’re far away and can’t reach you, just very cool to see!). We will definitely be back. 20/10 experience!"
